Each walking tour published is identified under a category of either a series of tours or an edition of tours.

Series

A series of walking tours is a group of related major tour cities or sites linked geographically or historically. Examples are:

Grand Tour Series	Rome, Venice, Florence, Paris, Vienna, London, Prague, Frankfort, Madrid, Barcelona, Athens, Brussels, etc.
New World Series	New York, Boston, Washington, Quebec, etc.
Heartland Series	Chicago, St Louis, etc.
Golden Coast Series	Monterey, San Francisco, etc.
GWar in Europe Series	London, Normandy, Berlin, etc.

Editions

An edition of walking tours is a group of important supplemental walks in cities accessible to a major Series city. Examples are:

Tuscany Edition

Siena, Pisa and Lucca are important day trip tours to supplement a visit to Florence, a grand tour series city. The Florence walking tour is categorized as both a series and an edition.
